Enfield Council is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their Adult Social Services Reablement Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support adults in regaining and maintaining independence following illness, injury, deterioration, or hospital discharge.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete strengths-based occupational therapy assessments
- Develop person-centred reablement plans focused on independence and wellbeing
- Recommend equipment, assistive technology, and adaptations
- Provide moving and handling advice to service users, carers, and staff
- Support hospital discharge and prevent escalation of care needs
- Work closely with social workers, health professionals, and partner agencies
- Maintain accurate case records and apply safeguarding principles at all times
Requirements
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with current HCPC registration
- Experience within Adult Social Care or Reablement services
- Strong knowledge of the Care Act, safeguarding, and Mental Capacity legislation
- Ability to manage a varied and fast-paced caseload
- Enhanced DBS required
