SW Locums is recruiting an experienced Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) to join the London Borough of Merton in a rewarding full-time locum opportunity.
The Role
- Completing holistic assessments and person-centred care planning.
- Undertaking risk assessments and safeguarding responsibilities.
- Supporting service users using a recovery-focused approach.
- Working within the Care Programme Approach (CPA) and Mental Health Act framework.
- Collaborating with health professionals and partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes.
- Supporting carers, arranging appropriate services, and promoting independence.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
- AMHP qualification and relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Mental Health Act, CPA, safeguarding, and community mental health practice.
- Excellent assessment, communication, and multi-agency working skills.
