Join Redbridge Council’s dynamic Mental Health Wellness Team as a Senior Practitioner (Adults) and play a key leadership role in transforming the lives of those living with mental health challenges. This is your opportunity to influence frontline practice, guide a dedicated team, and make a tangible impact within an integrated mental health service based at our Mental Health Hub in Wanstead.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker Practitioner with extensive knowledge of mental health services. The ideal candidate will be an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) with a strong background in adult mental health social work.
In this pivotal role, you will lead on safeguarding within the team, supervise and support AMHP and Mental Health Social Work staff, and manage the allocation of social work–specific cases across the Mental Health Wellness Teams. You’ll work closely with the MHWT Team Manager to ensure high-quality, person-centred support that aligns with statutory duties and best practice.
Pay Rate: £29.76 per hour (negotiable for experienced candidates)
Location: Redbridge, London (Wanstead Mental Health Hub)
