SW Locums is looking for a passionate, experienced and confident Qualified Adult Social Worker to join Redbridge Council in London.

The Opportunity
- Location: Redbridge, London
- Council: Redbridge Council
- Pay Rate: Up to £32.00 per hour (Umbrella)
- Contract: Full-time Locum
- Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
- Working Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake comprehensive Care Act 2014 assessments and reviews.
- Manage a varied caseload of adults with complex social care needs.
- Complete Mental Capacity Assessments and adult safeguarding enquiries.
- Develop person-centred, strengths-based care and support plans.
- Promote independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes for service users.
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, health professionals and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Strong experience within Adult Social Services.
- Excellent knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act.
- Confident managing complex caseloads independently.Strong assessment, safeguarding and report-writing skills.
- Excellent communication and multi-agency working skills.
- A proactive practitioner with a person-centred approach.
