About the Role
As a Child and Family Help Social Worker (Scale point: 29-32), you will manage an agreed caseload supporting children, young people, and families who need targeted early help and specialist interventions. Working collaboratively within a mixed-discipline team, you will undertake needs assessments, lead child-focused direct work, and formulate care plans to prevent the escalation of statutory child protection concerns. You will benefit from reflective supervision using the Signs of Safety framework, agile working technology, and a supportive team environment dedicated to achieving positive outcomes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Qualifications: Degree-level education with a relevant professional social work qualification (including successful completion of ASYE or equivalent family-focused experience), plus active Social Work England registration.
- Experience: Proven background in managing a caseload, undertaking assessments, safety and contingency planning, and working effectively with multi-agency stakeholders.
