Medway Council is looking for an Experienced Social Worker to join its dedicated Children's Services team on a permanent basis. The Role
You will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality services and meet service plan objectives and targets while managing a varied caseload within Children's Services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve service objectives and performance targets
- Participating in one-to-one Performance Development Reviews and supporting team development needs
- Promoting and supporting the Council's Fair Access, Diversity, and Inclusion Policy
- Ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and all safe working practices
- Supporting the Council's duty under Section 17 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 to help prevent crime and disorder
- Undertaking additional duties, as agreed by the Head of Service, in line with the role
