Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Social Worker to join the busy and dynamic Assessment Team at Noble House in Ely. Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking Child and Family Assessments
- Managing a varied frontline caseload
- Completing Section 47 enquiries and risk assessments
- Working closely with partner agencies to safeguard children
- Preparing clear and analytical reports for court and planning meetings
- Building effective relationships with children, families, and professionals
- Ensuring timely and outcome-focused interventions
About You
- Social Work England registration
- Proven experience within Children’s Services, ideally Assessment or Front Door teams
- Strong assessment and analytical skills
- Confidence managing statutory responsibilities in a busy team environment
- Excellent communication and partnership-working abilities
