Qualified Social Workers (QSW) & Senior Social Workers (SSW) Required – Bracknell Forest Council. SW Locums are recruiting experienced QSWs and SSWs for a full-time locum opportunity with Bracknell Forest Council.

Rate: £38.00 - £42.00 per hour (Umbrella)

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Bracknell Forest Council

Contract: Full-Time Locum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of Child in Need, Child Protection, Care Proceedings and Children Looked After.
  • Complete high-quality child-focused assessments and outcome-focused plans.
  • Undertake S17 assessments and S47 investigations.
  • Develop and implement effective safeguarding plans.
  • Work closely with partner agencies and professionals to safeguard children and young people.
  • Participate in duty services and respond to child protection concerns.
  • Produce clear, accurate reports, court statements and case recordings.
  • Maintain compliance with GDPR, departmental policies and procedures.
  • Engage in reflective supervision and contribute to best practice across the team.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant UK experience.
  • Strong knowledge of current legislation, policies, guidance and safeguarding thresholds.
  • Experience of multi-agency working and care planning.
  • Excellent assessment, recording and court work skills.
  • Car driver essential.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is mandatory.
  • References covering the last 5 years are required.
  • Updated CV with all employment gaps fully explained and verified.
