We are seeking a talented individual to join our Valuation team in either London or Birmingham. The role involves preparing a variety of valuations for accounting, tax, and commercial purposes, both contentious and non-contentious. This includes business and share valuations, intangible assets (often post-acquisition), and incentive scheme awards such as share options and management share plans.
Responsibilities:
- Managing valuation assignments independently, including analysis, execution, and reporting.
- Mentoring junior team members proactively.
- Participating in client discussions actively.
- Assisting managers and senior managers with business development, including proposals for new business.
- Preparing scope of work and related documentation.

Qualifications:
- Degree-level education or equivalent.
- Working towards or completed a relevant professional qualification such as CFA or Chartered Accountant (ACA/CA/ACCA).
- Significant experience in business valuations within a leading advisory firm with international clients.
- Strong technical skills in valuation methodologies and modelling across various sectors and purposes.
- Knowledge of current valuation practices and best modelling techniques.
- Experience managing a team of junior valuers.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, especially for creating valuation models and reports.
- Willingness to develop business development skills and industry contacts.
- Fluency in business English, both written and spoken.
