We're seeking a talented individual to join our US/UK Private Client Tax team in London, where we are looking for a Private Client US / UK Tax Associate who is responsible for preparation of US & UK tax returns.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of US & UK tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Training and mentoring 1st year associates
  • Assisting Managers with tax planning and advisory services to private clients, addressing their unique tax situation
  • Maintain and build strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication
  • Stay updated on tax legislation changes in both the US and the UK
  • Lending support to the Management team in continuing to build the US/UK tax team

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience gained within a professional services firm
  • Sound knowledge of private client tax issues with particular experience of advising US clients and non domiciled individuals
  • In-depth knowledge of US and UK individual tax laws and regulations
  • Demonstrable experience of managing complex compliance issues
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Professional qualifications and education: US Enrolled Agent (EA) (or studying towards) and ATT (or studying towards)
