We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Private Client tax service as part of the specialist US/ UK tax team. The team provides advice to US connected individuals and businesses in all aspects of cross border US and UK tax issues including US/ UK tax compliance, pre-immigration tax planning, expatriation and business structuring.
In this role we are looking for an ambitious Tax Associate who is keen to develop their career in a growing and exciting environment. As a Tax Associate your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of US & UK tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Assisting Managers with tax planning and advisory services to private clients, addressing their unique tax situation
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication
- Staying updated on tax legislation changes in both the US and the UK
- Lending support to the Management team in continuing to build the US/UK tax team and identifying business opportunities
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Relevant experience gained within a professional services firm
- Sound knowledge of private client tax issues with particular experience of advising US clients and non-domiciled individuals
- In-depth knowledge of US and UK individual tax laws and regulations
- Demonstrable experience of managing complex compliance issues
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team

- US Enrolled agent (EA) (or studying towards)
- ATT (or studying towards)
