Job Description
What will you be doing? We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Marketing & Commercial team in London, which is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to deliver market-leading growth at Evelyn Partners with a specific focus on our key customer verticals. Partnering with cross‑functional teams this role will identify and prioritise the growth opportunity across key customer verticals leveraging both brand and growth marketing. You will be responsible for developing compelling value propositions and building and implementing go-to-market strategies that deliver on our customer growth metrics, accountable for campaign strategy and delivery of activity that drives brand awareness and market growth, supporting the activities of our business development teams and practitioners to deliver our commercial targets.
We’re looking for an exceptional, commercially oriented marketing leader with the ability to bring both strategic thinking and campaign delivery. A proven leader in growth marketing with high standards, a performance mindset and a deep understanding of customer needs and strong operational delivery.
As Head of Growth Marketing, your responsibilities will include among others:
- Strategy Development: Support the Head of Growth and work as part of a cross functional group (including commercial, business development and front office) to define and execute a prioritised roadmap for our development of a deliberate and structured approach to targeting vertical markets – including IFAs, Entrepreneurs, Charities, Professional Partners, C‑Suite, Professionals and Brand Partners – in support of our commercial growth strategy.
- Positioning & Value Proposition: Use market insight and insight from our practitioners and clients as well as commercial understanding to develop clear and compelling positionings, value propositions and messaging that can drive growth in each vertical market ensuring Evelyn Partners 'right to win' is clearly articulated to customers. Ensure our brand stands out in market and provides a lever for us to deliver our market leading growth plan.
- Brand Partnerships and Client engagement: Partner our Head of Growth to manage and maximise the potential of our Brand Partner programme including; Manchester City Women’s Football Club, Chalke History Festival, Saracens Rugby Club to name a few. Work with partners to maximise brand, client and commercial value of the portfolio.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with practitioners, business development and other departments to ensure our strategic initiatives are fully aligned across all areas of activity. Build strong stakeholder relationships that organise the business around our shared commercial goals.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute marketing campaigns to support our commercial strategy driving awareness and growing our customer base in key vertical markets.
- Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of four Marketing Managers overseeing brand and growth marketing and our Marketing Governance & Regulations team providing guidance and support, whilst also being a leader across the commercial and marketing function and the wider organisation, driving a positive, can‑do culture of excellence across the function, building strong partnerships with the business and an ecosystem of external partners and stakeholders.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Proven experience in marketing strategy development and delivery with a track record of developing campaigns that drive commercial growth.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Track record of working in partnership with sales teams to develop integrated and co‑ordinated approaches to growth driving customer growth activity.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, navigate complexity and build positive relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Highly creative and strategic thinker with problem‑solving abilities and a track record of delivery.
- Deep knowledge of established and new marketing thinking with an appetite for innovation and an up to date understanding of the latest developments in brand and growth marketing.
