We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Associate Director to join our thriving team in London. Delivering Business Applications (Cloud ERP/SaaS) services is a critical pillar of S&W’s Technology and Data consulting team. You will play a key leadership role in the expansion of S&W’s capability, combining practice growth, sales origination, and end‑to‑end delivery leadership. This role has a core focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, while also requiring the ability to sell, shape and resource for engagements across a broader Cloud ERP portfolio including D365 CE, SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, Oracle NetSuite and Workday Financials and HCM. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, lead complex programmes and support the development of our propositions, delivery capability and talent base. S&W is an ambitious and expanding organisation, offering significant opportunities for individuals who want to help shape a growing practice and progress their careers at pace. This is a permanent role to be based at our London office with expected office attendance at 3 days per week minimum.
Responsibilities
- Playing a leadership role in the growth and strategic development of S&W’s Business Applications (Cloud ERP/SaaS) practice
- Owning and managing C‑suite and executive client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
- Monitoring delivery progress closely, anticipating client needs and taking ownership of client challenges to ensure timely and high‑quality resolution
- Confidently articulating S&W’s Business Applications service offering, value proposition, and strategy to internal and external audiences, positioning S&W effectively in the market
- Deploying deep technical and commercial knowledge across Dynamics 365 F&O and wider Cloud ERP/SaaS platforms to proactively identify, shape and secure new client opportunities
- Take accountability for engagement financial performance, including budgeting, margin management, billing, WIP and lock‑up
- Leading UK and offshore teams, creating an environment where people, process and technology combine to deliver effectively
- Coaching and mentoring colleagues, helping to build a pipeline of future leaders and specialists
Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience delivering multiple full‑lifecycle Cloud ERP implementations at scale
- Deep expertise in Finance processes across all areas of Finance and a working understanding of Operations and CRM processes
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, including finance and operational process transformation and with a working knowledge of D365 CE and its integrations with F&O
- Sufficient knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, Oracle NetSuite and Workday Financials and HCM, to assist with sales, resourcing and lateral expansion in these areas
- Experience implementing or overseeing native AI capabilities within Cloud ERP platforms (e.g. Copilot)
- Proven experience in both sales and delivery leadership, including ownership of client relationships and engagement commercials
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience operating at C‑suite and executive level
- Experience leading multi‑vendor and complex delivery environments
- A proven consulting background, with Big 4 experience or equivalent
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g. Microsoft) or equivalent
- Ongoing commitment to professional development and thought leadership
- Relevant accounting qualification or equivalent
