St Vincent de Paul Society (SVP) is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Fundraising and Partnerships Officer to help grow sustainable income, develop strong partnerships, and raise the profile of our East Leeds Centre. Your work will directly support our mission to provide vital services to people experiencing hardship, isolation, and poverty.
About the Role
As a Fundraising and Partnerships Officer, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering our income‑generation activities. You’ll work across events, corporate partnerships, community engagement, and individual giving.
- Fundraising & Events
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate a varied programme of fundraising and community events.
- Support individuals and groups taking part in sponsored and challenge events.
- Work alongside volunteers to maximise reach and fundraising outcomes.
- Corporate Partnerships & Networking
- Use your networking and partnership‑building skills to develop and grow corporate support.
- Build sponsorships, workplace fundraising initiatives, and volunteering partnerships.
- Represent SVP at business and community networking events.
- Community Engagement
- Build strong relationships with local schools, faith groups, and community organisations.
- Provide fundraising resources and deliver engaging outreach sessions and assemblies.
- Individual Giving & Stewardship
- Support delivery of one‑off and regular giving campaigns.
- Provide excellent stewardship to keep supporters informed and valued.
- Manage accurate donation processing while maximising Gift Aid.
- Retail & Café Income Support
- Help promote initiatives that increase footfall and fundraising in our retail and café services.
- Support joint campaigns and in‑kind donation partnerships.
- Communications & Data
- Create engaging fundraising and impact‑led content across various channels.
- Maintain accurate supporter data and produce regular income reporting.
- Uphold SVP brand, values, and GDPR responsibilities.
About You
You’ll be energetic, proactive, and confident working with a wide range of stakeholders.
Essential
- A minimum of 2 years’ fundraising experience
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in networking and partnership development
- Experience delivering fundraising and community events
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
- Knowledge of Gift Aid, CRM systems, and fundraising regulation
Desirable
- A recognised fundraising qualification
- Experience managing data and producing income or performance reports
- Understanding of the East Leeds community and local networks
- Knowledge of brand consistency, impact reporting, and GDPR best practice
