Location: This role is based in our Immingham operation. The team work on a 1 week on/off rotation.
Your Role as Tug Master
As a Tug Master at SVITZER, you’ll be at the helm of innovation and safety, responsible for the smooth operation and maintenance of our vessels. You’ll lead with expertise, ensuring our operations remain safe, timely, and of the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely manage operations for assisted ships, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
Cultivate a culture of safety on board, empowering your crew to use advanced safety tools and techniques.
Oversee shipboard administration, including safety and operational reporting, with meticulous attention to detail.
Collaborate with Marine Managers, Harbour Pilots, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and planning for all towage operations.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum Master <500GT>
Experience with ASD/Voith propulsion systems.
Harbour or terminal towage experience essential.
Strong communication and administrative skills.
Proficiency in computer-based management systems.
Requirements:
