Location: This role is based in our Felixstowe operation. The team work on a 1 week on/off rotation. Due to the nature of the operation there is a requirement to live within a one hour commute of the Port of Felixstowe. A Full UK Driving Licence and Own Vehicle is required to access the port.
Your Role as Tug Master
As a Tug Master at SVITZER, you will be at the helm of innovation and safety, responsible for the smooth operation and maintenance of our vessels. You will lead with expertise, ensuring our operations remain safe, timely, and of the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely manage operations for assisted ships, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
- Cultivate a culture of safety on board, empowering your crew to use advanced safety tools and techniques.
- Oversee shipboard administration, including safety and operational reporting, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaborate with Marine Managers, Harbour Pilots, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and planning for all towage operations.
