Electrical Engineer

Svella Connect M&E are an accredited Electrical Installation & Compliance Contractor with an expert team of electrical engineers. To support Svella connect M&E growth we are currently looking for experienced, accomplished, self-motivated Electrical and Mechanical Engineers to maintain and support our industrys leading services and clients. You will work across a variety of functional groups that are directly involved in Electrical Engineering, Servicing Electrical Equipment and Systems and Compliance. Svella Connect M&E is focused on providing extensive training through different courses for all Approved Electricians on board. We pride ourselves on support to all our employees, so during the onboarding process please dont hesitate to ask what training programmes we provide upon joining. The main duties include but are not limited to: Diagnose and repair electrical problems on commercial and Industrial electrical systems, including fault-finding, rewiring, and installation Assess the parts needed for service jobs and place orders for those parts Installation of various types of containment systems to include tray, conduits etc. Conduct routine maintenance and testing on commercial and industrial electrical systems, and ensure installations are to current BS Standards Ensure good quality workmanship which upholds company standards, complies with building codes, and follows safety requirements Comfortable working alone or as part of a team Provide exceptional face to face customer service and answer any customer questions Provide professional assessments and advice for customers Must be able to travel and occasionally stay away from home Skills, qualifications and experience required: Ideally 4+ Years of experience Must be an Approved Electrician and hold all the necessary qualifications. Possess ECS/CSCS Health & Safety Qualification Full UK Driving License PASMA/IPAF an advantage City & Guilds Level 3 NVQ Qualified Test & Inspection 2391 an advantage but not essential 2921-34 EV Charging course Testing Experience is also desirable. Fire Alarm Knowledge would be advantageous Possess working knowledge of IEE regulations Demonstrate familiarity with NICEIC requirements TPBN1_UKTJ
