A Role Where Support, Progression & Purpose Come Together
When one of our team members joined SV Care six months ago, they quickly realised this wasn’t like other organisations they’d worked for. What stood out first was the genuine level of support. From access to a dedicated Welfare and Development Officer to approachable, hands-on senior leaders, SV Care puts staff wellbeing and growth at the heart of everything it does. The Responsible Individual regularly visits the homes, offers guidance, and remains consistently available — creating a culture where staff feel supported, not isolated. Even early on, meaningful conversations about development and progression take place. At SV Care, growth isn’t delayed — it’s encouraged.
We have a fantastic opportunity to join SV Care Services Ltd as a Registered Manager to manage a home in Romford. - Build a positive, professional culture—mentoring, motivating, and developing staff to deliver consistent, trauma-informed care
- Act as a strong advocate for the young people and represent the service in professional networks, regulatory inspections, and multi-agency settings
- Take responsibility for the home’s financial and administrative performance, ensuring sustainability and growth
What We’re Looking For:
- We’re seeking a strong, experienced leader who is committed to making a difference in the lives of children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
- Experience managing a children’s residential home, preferably for those with emotional and behavioural difficulties or complex needs
- Demonstrated ability to manage compliance, inspections, and quality standards in line with Ofsted
- Proven experience in managing staff teams and supporting their development
- Confident in safeguarding, care planning, and working with multi-agency professionals
