Hours: 16 hours per week, Monday full day, 2 half days later in the week or Monday half day, 3 half days later in the week. Office based. Hourly rate £15-17 per hour depending on experience. Weekly pay. Likely duration of contract - minimum 6 months, potential for permanent. On site parking available. Starting on Thursday 1st May 2025.
Overview: Due to part-time hours, candidates must be local to the Chelmsford area. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Advisor to join our team in supporting a Chelmsford based client. This is a stand-alone role, so working under your own initiative. This role is pivotal in supporting various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, excellent administrative skills, and proficiency in relevant software systems.
Responsibilities:
- Support onboarding processes for new hires, including producing offer letters and contracts.
- Maintaining HR system with data.
- Employee Relations - Advice and Support.
- Facilitate communication between employees and management regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Payroll preparation - collating data.
- Recruitment and onboarding.
- Updating policies and procedures.
Skills required:
- Generalist HR Knowledge.
- Experience using a HR software package.
- Experience of HR administration.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff at all levels.
- Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
- A solid understanding of human resources principles and practices.
- Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Must have minimum CIPD Level 5.
