Main duties:
- Diagnose, maintain and repair heavy duty diesel engines across marine, generator, fire pump and crane applications
- Fault finding and troubleshooting on mechanical and fuel systems
- Service and overhaul, completing service reports and documentation
They are looking for someone with:
- Proven experience as a diesel engine mechanic or engineer
- Marine and industrial background preferred
- Strong knowledge of diesel systems: fuel, cooling, turbocharging and engine controls
- Experience with common rail and mechanical fuel pumps
- Competence with precision measuring equipment (imperial and metric)
- Basic IT skills - Word and Excel
Desirable is:
- OEM training or certification from MTU, Caterpillar, Cummins, or Volvo
- Relevant mechanical or engineering qualifications
