  • Contract: Permanent
  • Location: Near Bishop’s Stortford (office based). Due to location, own transport is required.

About the role

The Client Account Manager (CAM) is responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience, ensuring client retention, and contributing to the growth of the company's portfolio.

This role involves identifying opportunities for company expansion, driving self-development, and maximising the uptake of the full suite of services offered to clients.

The CAM will manage the full lifecycle of client relationships, from ongoing service delivery, to query resolution, tariff reviews, procurement renewals, and strategic account planning.

The role ensures that all client touchpoints and internal workflows are consistent with documented processes, guaranteeing a seamless and efficient experience for both clients and the team.

The CAM directly supports the company's mission to become the UK’s leading, data-driven heat network management partner, by driving client satisfaction, service uptake, and long-term retention, while contributing to the growth and operational excellence of the business.

This is a delivery role responsible for managing the company's most strategically important client relationships, supporting the ongoing development of the team and ensuring high standards of client account delivery across a wide portfolio.

Requirements

  • Strong background in account management or client relationship management
  • Experience managing complex or technical client portfolios
  • Experience within heat networks, energy procurement, utilities or metering and billings.
  • Experience improving processes and building structured workflows.
  • Experience handling escalations, negotiations and high value clients.
