We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected automotive insurance provider for a GAP Claims Assessor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service and administration experience who is looking to develop a rewarding, long-term career within the insurance industry.
Full training is provided, making this an ideal role for someone eager to learn and progress within a supportive team. You'll also enjoy a healthy work-life balance with Monday to Friday working hours (8:30am – 5:00pm) and a hybrid working arrangement.
The Role of GAP Claims Assessor
As a GAP Claims Assessor, you'll manage your own portfolio of GAP insurance claims from initial notification through to settlement. Acting as the main point of contact for customers, you'll provide exceptional service while liaising with insurers and third parties to ensure claims are resolved efficiently and fairly.
Key Responsibilities of GAP Claims Assessor
- Guide customers through the claims process, providing regular updates and support.
- Research vehicle valuations and negotiate with insurers where appropriate.
- Review and validate claim documentation, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate records using internal CRM systems.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and associated administration.
- Build strong working relationships with customers, insurers, and other key stakeholders.
