We are currently recruiting Trade Plate Drivers on a self-employed basis to join our growing team. If you are professional, well-presented, self-motivated, and take pride in delivering outstanding customer service, we would like to hear from you.
The Role
As a Trade Plate Driver, you will be responsible for the collection and delivery of new and used vehicles across the UK. Vehicle movements will include collections and deliveries from:
- Main dealerships
- Auction sites
- Vehicle compounds
- Hire and leasing companies
- Commercial businesses
- Private customers
This is a flexible role suited to drivers who are confident working independently and managing their own workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and managing daily vehicle movements efficiently
- Carrying out thorough and accurate vehicle appraisals
- Collecting and delivering vehicles safely and professionally
- Providing excellent customer service at every stage
- Completing vehicle handovers and obtaining customer sign-off
- Managing all associated paperwork and documentation
- Reporting any vehicle damage or defects accurately
Essential Requirements
- Must be 25 years of age or over
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
Desirable Experience
- Previous Trade Plate driving experience
- Vehicle collection and delivery experience
- Van driving experience
- Vehicle assessor
