Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals in their homes, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, personal care, medication, mobility, and companionship.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming in accordance with each client’s care plan
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and the use of mobility aids as required
- Support clients with meals, hydration, and dietary needs
- Prompt or administer medication in line with company policy and training
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Support with light domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and shopping
- Accurately record care visits and report any concerns or changes in client condition
- Follow safeguarding procedures and uphold the rights, dignity, and confidentiality of clients
Skills and Qualifications
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering quality care
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Right to work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
