We are looking for a Marketing Director with a mix of B2B and B2C experience to join this positive and dynamic senior leadership team. Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading a capable team; developing and delivering commercial marketing strategies that drive growth.
The successful candidate will balance strategic thinking with tactical execution, delivering measurable results across all marketing activities including brand development and lead generation.
Key Accountabilities- Plan and drive the marketing vision and strategy for the organisation, with consideration to the alignment of business objectives and growth targets.
- Act as the marketing lead on the Senior Leadership Team, advising the Board on the optimum strategic direction for marketing, using innovative approaches to maintain competitive advantage and also using commercial skills to contribute across wider business areas.
- Oversee the full marketing mix across diverse channels – steer strategic planning processes, marketing strategy development and ongoing optimisation.
- Optimise multiple marketing budgets with full P&L accountability – maximise marketing effectiveness, delivering ROI.
- Champion and evolve the brand strategy, ensure high quality and consistent brand messaging and identity across all touchpoints, maintaining brand guidelines – act as the senior lead with regards to brand reputation management, including crisis communications.
- Drive thought leadership initiatives, speaking engagement and industry contributions.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and suppliers.
- Determine and monitor KPIs across all marketing activities, with distinct accountability for lead generation, conversion rates and brand awareness.
- Utilise data‐driven insights to continuously optimise marketing strategies by implementing a strong analytics framework.
Minimum 10 years of progressive marketing experience with at least 2 years in senior leadership roles, either in a client side (experience in a service‐led business with UK wide operations would be hugely helpful) or agency environment.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful multi‐channel marketing strategies that drive measurable business results.
Experience leading and developing high‐performing marketing teams.
Proven ability in managing and measuring lead generation campaigns with clear ROI outcomes.
Ability to anticipate market trends and outstanding strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
Ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
