Circa £120k base plus bonus and benefits, hybrid working 3 days in office/2 WFH (some EMEA travel).
Key responsibilities:
- Develop the organisation's eCommerce strategy in alignment with overall business objectives, developing plans and building direct relationships with all the major pure players across EMEA to deliver accelerated growth and online market share gain.
- Design a new framework for a cross-functional eCommerce team utilising existing expertise across the business.
- Build and champion a culture of eCommerce excellence, working with the commercial teams in the countries to ensure their understanding and engagement with the eCommerce strategy to improve online performance across all markets.
- Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and ensure continuous improvement.
- Define KPIs to track the success and ROI of eCommerce growth initiatives across EMEA.
- Manage the communication of all eCommerce goals, progress, and outcomes to all EMEA stakeholders to ensure full engagement with business transformation objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to embed digital first thinking into the business strategy, working alongside peers to identify areas where digital tools and technologies could enhance and improve performance and support business transformation.
- Design and lead programs to upskill the organisation on new digital processes and tools.
- Create a digital skills programme and best practice guide to share with the sales and marketing teams across EMEA to ensure that everyone is fully engaged with and has a clear understanding of the steps to digital transformation.
Skills and Experience:
- An eCommerce expert, who has either worked client-side (FMCG, Consumer Products, Fashion, Beauty, Household Goods, Petcare, Retail) successfully growing accounts or with a digital agency where you have honed an expertise in identifying all the areas for improvement across operations, retail, advertising, creative, content and data that together drive significant growth.
- Experience in conducting high level negotiations.
- A strong understanding of how digital marketing works and a knowledge of trade marketing specifically and how to drive sell-out.
- Experience of developing a long-term view of a business and translating it into an actionable growth strategy, linked to business goals.
- Strong track record of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and of influencing people at all levels to execute strategy, effecting change through strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Proven experience of bringing people together, actively listening to team members and taking action.
- Understanding of the UK, European and Middle Eastern markets, the competitive landscape and key customers.
- Demonstrable track record of analysing data and identifying new opportunities as a result.
- Commercial acumen, analytical with excellent negotiation skills.
- Ability to put together an effective long-term growth strategy.
- Leadership qualities, providing people with a strategic vision; bringing people together to achieve strategic objectives.
- Results oriented with proven success in working with others to increase profitability and optimise ROI spend.
