THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Marketing Director with a mix of B2B and B2C experience to join a high-performing senior leadership team. Our client is a well-established, growth-focused business operating across multiple sites in the healthcare sector and if you have experience in multi-site operations, you'll feel right at home here. Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading a talented and established team, developing and delivering commercial marketing strategies that drive growth. The role balances strategic thinking with tactical execution, delivering measurable results across all marketing activities including brand development and lead generation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Plan and drive the marketing vision and strategy for the organisation, with consideration to the alignment of business objectives and growth targets
  • Act as the marketing lead on the Senior Leadership Team, advising the Board on the optimum strategic direction for marketing, using innovative approaches to maintain competitive advantage and bringing genuine commercial leadership beyond the marketing function
  • Oversee the full marketing mix across diverse channels, steering strategic planning processes, marketing strategy development and ongoing optimisation
  • Optimise multiple marketing budgets with full P&L accountability, maximising marketing effectiveness and delivering ROI
  • Champion and evolve the brand strategy, ensuring high quality and consistent brand messaging and identity across all touchpoints and across a multi-site, franchised network - maintaining brand guidelines and acting as the senior lead for brand reputation management, including crisis communications
  • Drive thought leadership initiatives, speaking engagements and industry contributions within the healthcare and wider services sector
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and suppliers
  • Determine and monitor KPIs across all marketing activities, with distinct accountability for lead generation, conversion rates and brand awareness
  • Utilise data-driven insights to continuously optimise marketing strategies by implementing a strong analytics framework

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Significant progressive marketing experience, including at least 2 years in a senior leadership role. Client-side experience in a multi-site, service-led business is highly desirable. We’re equally open and keen to hear from candidates from an agency environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful multi-channel marketing strategies that drive measurable business results
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing marketing teams
  • Proven ability in managing and measuring lead generation campaigns with clear ROI outcomes
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities, with the ability to anticipate market trends
  • Ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders
  • Experience working within or alongside franchised networks is a significant advantage
