We are working with the Head of Quality and Risk at one of the worlds leading networks of member firms(120 + countries) . This role involves leading on the ethics and independence program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting a culture of integrity across all member firms globally.

This role involves developing and implementing policies, providing guidance and training, and overseeing compliance with ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Policy Development:Develop, implement, and maintain global ethics and independence policies and procedures.
• Compliance Monitoring:Oversee compliance with ethics and independence standards, including regular audits and assessments.
• Training and Education:Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on ethics and independence requirements.
• Advisory Role:Provide expert advice to senior management and member firms on complex ethics and independence issues.
• Incident Management:Lead investigations into potential breaches of ethics and independence policies, ensuring appropriate actions are taken.
• Stakeholder Engagement:Collaborate with regulatory bodies, industry groups, and other stakeholders to stay abreast of developments in ethics and independence standards.
• Reporting:Prepare and present reports on ethics and independence matters to the board and senior management.
• Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for enhancing the firm's ethics and independence program and implement best practices.

Qualifications:

• Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, CFE) is preferred.
• Experience:Minimum of 10 years of experience in ethics and compliance, preferably within a global accountancy firm.
• Knowledge:In-depth knowledge of global ethics and independence standards and regulations.
• Skills:Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment.
