To be responsible for the read coding of relevant information into patients' electronic healthcare records on the EMIS clinical system, in line with the organisations coding policy. In addition, the post holder will be responsible for the full patient registration pathway from initial registration to processing deductions ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant procedures. The role will also involve providing administrative support to the multi-disciplinary team as required, in line with the needs of the organisation.,
- Reviewing records and accurately producing a summary of the patients medical history
- Accurately read coding data on EMIS
- Reviewing progress of summarising, ensuring practice targets are achieved
- Reviewing all clinical letters, ensuring they are processed appropriately in line with extant protocols
- Managing patient registrations and deductions on EMIS, ensuring all data is entered and updated accurately in accordance with organisational procedures
