Offer general assistance to the Health Centre team
Use medical computer systems, EMIS. Use IT systems as directed by the Health Centre, NHS e mail. On line training. Intra net and other information technology as this develops.
Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way
Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the Health Centre
Facilitate effective communication between patients, members the primary health care team, secondary care and other associated healthcare agencies. This will include the use of IT systems for effective communication
To participate in the registration of new patients and the management of patients registration using various IT systems
We are a friendly and modern Health Centre providing comprehensive primary care services to 19,000 patients from diverse cultural backgrounds on two sites.
4 days per week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday. A mixture of AM (8:00 - 16:00) and PM (11:00 - 19:00) shifts, with the following mix:
- Monday (8:00 - 16:00)
- Tuesday (11:00 - 19:00)
- Wednesday (11:00 - 19:00)
- Friday (11:00 - 19:00)
