The Role
The Fleet Administrator will support the continuous improvement in the management of the international fleet of ISO tank containers and associated equipment. Their primary responsibility will be to support the Fleet team in the management of the international fleet.
In addition to the administrative tasks there is a requirement to assist in the development of procedures to improve and enhance processes. This will require regular liaison and correspondence with all relevant stakeholders.
The post holder is expected to contribute towards the delivery of an excellent support service to both internal and external stakeholders.Also, co-ordination of associated projects and assisting with ensuring legal compliance policies are met.
Key Accountabilities
Support the Technical Services team in any administration task required by the business
Add test certificates and tank units to the system as and when required by the business
Coordinating the Fleet Helpdesk and actioning requests
Administration of tank unit changes as required
Notify operations offices when tanks are held or released due to fleet requirements
Maintain and update tank specification accordingly
Source and retain required documentation
Assist with on and off hiring of lease equipment
Instruct Inspection Companies and ensure surveys are received
Assist with the administration of unit disposals
Required Experience and Skills
Highly organised
Attention to detail
Good coordinator
Strong administration experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Numerate and IT literate, with the ability to learn and utilise new systems
Learns quickly, able to develop a good knowledge of the organisation and its people
Excellent interpersonal skills, a relationship builder and a strong communicator
Ability to work independently and part of a team
?Ability to effectively work hybrid remote
An understanding of IMDG regulations and multi-modal logistics operations would be advantageous
