Sutton Recruitment are proud to work in partnership with a manufacturing specialist in the HU2 area and have been established for almost 60 years. We are currently seeking GRP Composite Operatives to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. As a GRP Composite Operative you will assist in the manufacturing of GRP products and could work on various stages of the process, not just the GRP stage.
Location: HU2
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour (increases available following training)
Hours: Monday to Friday – 7am to 4pm (early finish on Friday)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the manufacturing and production of GRP components to required specifications
- Prepare moulds, mix resins, and apply GRP materials using hand lay-up and other techniques
- Carry out finishing and trimming work, ensuring products meet quality standards
- Use hand and power tools safely throughout the production process
- Follow work instructions and maintain high levels of accuracy
- Ensure the work area is kept clean, tidy, and compliant with health & safety procedures
