The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Working with the Operations team to ensure all houses are filled, transferred and emptied as per KPIs. Train new members of the team on disease control and elimination. Attend daily farm walks with other departments. Attend weekly planning meetings with the Growing consultant. Ensure that all growing operations are completed on time. Work with your team to achieve the best yield potential. Implement climate control and fertigation strategies. Conduct all crop husbandry work. Perform crop walking and scouting for pests and diseases. Enforce & promote excellent health & safety practices. Ensure all completed work is safe and hygienic and complies with FSA and health and safety legislation. Ensure GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to. Drive own personal development through training and work-based experience. Help harvesting supervisors during busy times. Report on KPI figures during monthly meetings. Any other duties that may be required.

Qualifications Required

  • Previous experience as a Grower working in a growing environment.
  • Previous experience as a Grower working in a chilled, fast-paced FMCG environment.
  • BRC experience.
  • Experience with retailers audit protocol.
  • A sound knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.
