FLT Counterbalance Drivers – Days & Nights – Near Driffield

Up to £14.50 per hour | Ongoing Work | Immediate Start

Sutton Recruitment are working in partnership with a well-established food production facility near Driffield and are currently seeking experienced FLT Counterbalance Drivers to join their team ahead of the busy pea season. These are excellent opportunities for reliable candidates looking for ongoing work within a busy food manufacturing environment.

Available Shifts & Pay Rates:

  • Day Shift FLT Drivers
  • Training / Pre-Season: Monday to Thursday – Days
  • Pea Season: Friday, Saturday & Sunday – Days £14.00 per hour
  • Night Shift FLT Drivers
    • Training / Pre-Season: Monday to Thursday – Nights
    • Pea Season: Friday, Saturday & Sunday – Nights £14.50 per hour

    The Role:

    • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
    • Loading and unloading vehicles
    • Moving stock and materials around site
    • Supplying production lines with materials as required
    • Ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely
    • Supporting warehouse and production teams where necessary
    • Following all health & safety and food hygiene procedures

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Previous FLT Counterbalance driving experience is essential
    • Must hold a valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift licence
    • Experience within a food production or manufacturing environment preferred
    • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment
    • Reliable and committed with a strong work ethic
    • Flexible to work the seasonal shift pattern
