Sutton Recruitment are recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a night shift role based in Middleton-on-the-Wolds. This position is initially for a one-month assignment, with the potential for extension depending on business requirements.
The Role:
- Night shift deliveries with 9:30pm–10:00pm starts
- Finish times vary depending on delivery routes
- Multi-drop deliveries to various locations
- Some shifts may involve double manning
- Longer shifts can occur (occasionally 15–16 hours)
- Full-time hours with the potential for the assignment to be extended
Pay & Benefits:
- £14.71 per hour

Driver Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum of 6 penalty points
- No DR, DD or TT convictions
- Multi-drop experience preferred
- Flexible and reliable approach to working hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle for multi-drop deliveries
- Complete deliveries efficiently and on time
- Provide a professional and courteous service to customers
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Ensure compliance with all driving and working time regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork
