We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Motor Mechanic/MOT Tester (MOT tester not essential) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and environmental standards. Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools
- Carry out repairs, servicing, and maintenance on various vehicle makes and models
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to perform tasks such as brake repairs, engine diagnostics, suspension work, and tyre fitting
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard within specified timeframes
- Assist with vehicle safety checks and ensure compliance with legal requirements
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including heavy lifting procedures when handling vehicle parts or equipment
