Church Family Worker

Sutton Coldfield United Reformed Church is a welcoming, inclusive congregation seeking to nurture faith, community, and belonging across all ages. We are seeking to employ a Church Family Worker who will help us deepen our ministry with families, strengthen connections across generations, and share God\’s love with the wider community.

The role will include leading and developing our existing parent-and-toddler group and Messy Church congregation, and building relationships with local schools, community groups, and families to extend the church\’s mission.

The successful candidate will have a Christian faith, be flexible and adaptable, and have a passion for family ministry. They will have experience working with children, youth, and families, have excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with church leadership and volunteers. They will be knowledgeable about safeguarding policies and procedures. Experience in applying for project funding would be desirable.
