Weighbridge Operator – Mannings Heath Depot
We are currently looking for a Weighbridge Operator at our Mannings Heath Depot near Tower Park in Poole.
Reporting to our Director of Quarrying, the successful candidate will ideally have experience in a weighbridge operator role, but training is available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities & Qualities:
- Operating the weighbridge.
- Scrutinising incoming waste flow to ensure compliance.
- Compliance with all health and safety procedures and ensuring that everyone on site is following health and safety laws and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a weighbridge operator useful but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, drivers, logistics personnel, and management.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required.
Pay and Benefits:
The hourly rate for this position will vary depending on experience and qualifications. Standard company benefits such as holiday pay and pension scheme apply.
