Job Description
- Experience in dealing with and managing Insurance claims, particularly UK Property Insurance claims
- Handle and process property insurance claims efficiently and accurately
- Assess and validate claims documentation to determine coverage and liability
- If needed : Liaise with loss adjusters, surveyors, and other relevant parties to gather information and expedite claims resolution
- Negotiate settlements with policyholders and third parties, ensuring fair and timely resolutions
- Handle recoveries for property claims in UK, maximising opportunities for subrogation
- Maintain detailed and accurate claim files and records
- Identify and report potential fraudulent claims to the appropriate departments
- Provide excellent customer service to policyholders throughout the claims process
- Stay updated on industry trends, policy changes, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with underwriting and other departments to improve policy wording and risk assessment
- Meet or exceed performance targets for claims handling and customer satisfaction
- Demonstrate strong negotiation skills in all aspects of claims management
