Job Description

  • Experience in dealing with and managing Insurance claims, particularly UK Property Insurance claims
  • Handle and process property insurance claims efficiently and accurately
  • Assess and validate claims documentation to determine coverage and liability
  • If needed : Liaise with loss adjusters, surveyors, and other relevant parties to gather information and expedite claims resolution
  • Negotiate settlements with policyholders and third parties, ensuring fair and timely resolutions
  • Handle recoveries for property claims in UK, maximising opportunities for subrogation
  • Maintain detailed and accurate claim files and records
  • Identify and report potential fraudulent claims to the appropriate departments
  • Provide excellent customer service to policyholders throughout the claims process
  • Stay updated on industry trends, policy changes, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with underwriting and other departments to improve policy wording and risk assessment
  • Meet or exceed performance targets for claims handling and customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills in all aspects of claims management
