The role involves helping to attract new investment to the region by coordinating investor visits, developing high-quality marketing and proposition materials, supporting events, and responding to investment enquiries. You will work closely with colleagues across HIE and partner organisations, contributing to projects that showcase the region’s strengths in sectors such as Energy Transition, Space, and Life Sciences, while gaining valuable experience at the heart of economic development and investment attraction.
The person we’re looking for is an enthusiastic and motivated graduate educated to degree level in economics, business management, marketing, or a related subject. You will have strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills, a proactive approach to problem solving, and excellent attention to detail. You'll be comfortable working collaboratively as part of a team while also using your own initiative and will be committed to delivering high standards of customer service. Strong IT skills and a genuine interest in supporting economic and regional development will help you thrive in this role.
