We're looking for an exceptional Room Leader to lead one of our nursery rooms, inspiring both children and colleagues while creating a fun, safe and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
What you'll be doing
As one of our Room Leaders, you'll
- lead, motivate and support a dedicated team of childcare professionals
- create inspiring learning experiences that spark curiosity and imagination
- plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS
- help lead our exciting weekly Forest School sessions, encouraging children to learn through nature
- build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
- ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health & safety and wellbeing
- monitor children's development and celebrate every milestone
- keep your room organised, welcoming and full of opportunities to learn through play
What we're looking for
You'll be someone who
- holds a Level 3 Childcare qualification (essential)
- has at least 2 years' nursery experience
- has experience leading or supervising a small team
- has a strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
- is creative, energetic and passionate about giving children the very best start in life
- loves outdoor learning and enjoys getting involved in Forest School activities
- is an excellent communicator with children, parents and colleagues
- has the right to work in the UK & lives within 30-45 minute commuting time
