We’re looking for an exceptional Room Leader to lead one of our nursery rooms, inspiring both children and colleagues while creating a fun, safe and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead, motivate and support a dedicated team of childcare professionals
- Create inspiring learning experiences that spark curiosity and imagination
- Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS
- Help lead our exciting weekly Forest School sessions, encouraging children to learn through nature
- Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health & safety and wellbeing
- Monitor children’s development and celebrate every milestone
- Keep your room organised, welcoming and full of opportunities to learn through play
What we’re looking for
- Holds a Level 3 Childcare qualification (essential)
- Has at least 2 years’ nursery experience
- Has experience leading or supervising a small team
- Has a strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
- Is creative, energetic and passionate about giving children the very best start in life
- Loves outdoor learning and enjoys getting involved in Forest School activities
- Is an excellent communicator with children, parents and colleagues
- Has the right to work in the UK & lives within 30-45 minute commuting time
