As part of a dedicated team, our Field Sales Coordinators provide administrative support to assigned Area Sales Managers. This includes the preparation of customer quotations, providing company information, the completion and filing of relevant documents within set deadlines, and the submission of professionally procured tenders. The role of the Field Sales Coordinator is to assist in the sales process, providing administration and customer service support to assigned ASMs and other areas where required. Working in the Sales Office involves liaising with most departments in the business to gain information or documents to satisfy customer requests. The submission of tenders involves completing and compiling documents to be submitted to the client for review.

Initially covering 12 months maternity leave with a view to becoming permanent, this role also involves liaising with customers directly, either on the telephone or via e-mail. A typical example of a customer enquiry would be the identification of required spare parts for an existing product followed by a quotation. This involves the continual development of product knowledge.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and submission of tenders
  • Provide exceptional face-to-face, verbal and written customer service
  • Efficiently and accurately using Sage Line 500 to process customer orders, create reports, upkeep the quality of data and answer customer queries
  • Maintain the company’s CRM and sales lead database
  • Maintaining the company’s margin standards at quote and order stages
  • Be involved in the creation and review of Sales Office processes
  • Follow and maintain the company filing structure
  • Complete handovers of installation orders to the Contracts Manager
  • Liaise with other departments within the company to assist in answering queries
  • To ensure all internal and external communication accurately reflects the image of Sutcliffe Play Ltd
  • To maintain a positive office environment
  • Any other duties as required
Requirements:
  • Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of customers, suppliers, sub-contractors and employees
  • IT literate with proven experience of using all Microsoft Office packages
  • Experience in a similar role
  • An overall professional appearance along with a friendly but focused attitude

Job Type: Full-time, working hours are 36.25 hours per week. 8.30 am – 4.30 pm.

Pay: £24,000 per year
