About the Role
As the Sustainability Reporting Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering our ambitious sustainability goals, including achieving Net Zero by 2030. You’ll not only track and report on progress but actively shape strategies to reduce our carbon footprint, manage impactful offsetting partnerships in other continents, and communicate successes both internally and externally.
Joining an established Sustainability Team, this role offers the chance to drive progress across carbon reduction initiatives, develop impactful partnerships, and deliver exceptional sustainability reporting aligned with industry frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the Carbon Transition Plan: Collaborate with internal teams and external consultancies to track progress, secure buy-in for reduction projects, and oversee the resubmission of Science-Based Targets.
- Lead Sustainability Reporting: Own data collection, analysis, and reporting across frameworks such as SECR, ESOS, TCFD, and annual reports.
- Manage Partnerships: Oversee carbon offset projects and budgets, develop removal pathways in Southern Africa, and maintain strong relationships with external partners.
- Inspire Through Storytelling: Communicate progress and inspire change among employees and customers, aligning sustainability with the broader company purpose.
- Monitor Trends & Shape the Future: Stay informed on emerging sustainability trends and regulatory changes, advising the business on strategic actions.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Support cross-functional projects across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, contributing to company-wide sustainability goals.
