Marketing and Communications Director – Sustainable Media Group & Sustainable Wealth Group
Location: UK (London preferred / hybrid, one day WFH)
Reports to: Marketing Director
About us
Sustainable Wealth Group (SWG) raises capital for early‑stage and growth companies, working with sophisticated and high‑net‑worth investors under regulated partner structures (e.g. Odin). We are building a content‑led investor community and need a senior marketer who understands financial audiences and can run a structured, accountable marketing operation.
Role Purpose
You will run end‑to‑end marketing for SWG. This includes content, copywriting, HubSpot workflows, segmentation, paid ads management and reporting. The focus is simple: engage a high‑quality investor audience, improve reach, and support fundraising activity.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Copywriting
- Produce clear, well‑researched content aimed at investors and intermediaries (HNWIs, VCs, IFAs, family offices).
- Write email copy, website landing pages, investor guides, thought‑leadership pieces and campaign messaging.
- Maintain a consistent tone and ensure all content is aligned with financial promotion rules.
HubSpot & CRM Management
- Own HubSpot. Build workflows, sequences, lists, and dashboards.
- Manage segmentation for investor categories (sophisticated, HNW, professional) with accurate data handling.
- Track pipeline metrics and campaign performance directly through HubSpot.
- Ensure CRM is clean, structured, compliant and used correctly by fundraising and commercial teams.
Paid Social & PPC
- Plan, brief and run LinkedIn, Meta and Google campaigns. (Alongside our external agency)
- Manage and optimise significant budgets (£10k–£50k+ monthly ranges depending on campaign).
- Track ROAS, CPA and audience performance.
- Test, refine and scale campaigns with structured reporting.
- Ensure creative and copy fit a financial/investor audience.
Planning & Coordination
- Build structured campaign plans linked to fundraising cycles and report launches.
- Brief external agencies and manage quality and deadlines.
- Manage budgets across content, paid ads, design and freelancers.
Experience Required
- 5+ years in senior marketing roles within financial services: wealth management, IFA networks, asset management, investment publishers, or investor‑led platforms.
- Strong background in content marketing for financial or investor audiences.
- Extensive HubSpot experience (mandatory): workflows, automation, lists, reports, lead scoring, attribution.
- Proven track record of segmentation and targeted email campaigns for financial audiences.
- Hands‑on experience running and optimising LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads and Google PPC with measurable results.
- Ability to work with financial content and simplify complex investment topics.
- Strong governance mindset: accuracy, compliance, and process‑driven execution.
- Experience working with regulated partners (e.g. under FCA oversight) is a bonus.
Preferred
- Understanding of EIS, SEIS, SPVs or capital‑raising structures.
- Experience in B2B2C funnels (wealth manager > investor).
- Background in event‑driven or content‑driven financial marketing.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
