About Sustainable Wealth Group

Sustainable Wealth Group is a specialist advisory firm dedicated to accelerating the growth of impactful, sustainable, and ethical businesses. We work with innovative startups, primarily in the Pre-Seed through Series A stages, providing them with expert guidance in strategy, scaling, and capital raising.

The Opportunity: Investing Non-Executive Director (NED)

We are seeking experienced, strategic leaders to join the Boards of Directors of our high-potential startup clients as an Investing Non-Executive Director (NED).

This is a part-time, remote role that offers a unique opportunity to shape the trajectory of groundbreaking companies focused on sustainability and positive impact.

What the Role Entails:

  • Strategic Collaboration: Working closely with the client startup\'s CEO and existing Board of Directors to provide high-level strategic guidance and oversight.

  • Fundraising Support: Leveraging your network and insights to support the startup\'s fundraising efforts, primarily focused on Pre-Seed to Series A capital raises.
  • Governance & Oversight: Ensuring robust corporate governance, risk management, and strategic alignment in the client company.

The Investing Commitment:

Crucial Note: This is an Investing Non-Executive Director position, and the role requires a personal capital commitment to invest in the client company. The required investment level will be discussed with shortlisted candidates and tailored to the specific startup and the Director\'s capacity.

❗️ IMPORTANT: Capital at Risk

Investing in early-stage startups involves significant risks, including illiquidity, lack of dividends, loss of investment, and dilution. It should only be done as part of a diversified portfolio and by investors who understand these risks. Your capital will be at risk.

Disclaimer: As an Investing NED, the role requires an ability and willingness to deploy personal capital into our high-potential client startups. However, the final decision to invest in any specific company remains at the discretion of the Director, subject to their personal due diligence

Compensation:

Directors are compensated for their service via a competitive equity package within the client startup, or a small stipend, to reflect the value of their time, expertise, and contribution.

Who We Are Looking For
