We’re an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to building a diverse workforce and fostering an inclusive environment, where everyone can thrive and be their authentic selves at work. We recognise that the climate crisis intersects with social and inclusion issues, and we’re particularly eager to receive applications from individuals who bring diverse perspectives, including people of colour, the LGBTQ+ community, people with disabilities, neurodivergent individuals, parents, carers, and those from lower socio-economic backgrounds.

About The Role

Our co-working space is a vibrant, full service workspace and the second in our growing ecosystem. Located just a 10 minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly, it builds on the success of our London headquarters, creating a thriving hub where purpose driven startups can work, network, and access investment and support to scale their impact. Spanning multiple floors, the workspace includes a cafe/bar, a mix of hot desking and fixed desks, private offices, and a range of meeting rooms. It also features two versatile event spaces, hosting groups from 30 to 150 people, making it a dynamic environment.

Reporting into the Managing Director of Workspaces, the Workspace Lead will take ownership of the workspace, leading on delivering an outstanding end to end member experience, from initial enquiry through to onboarding and ongoing engagement. You will play a central role in building a vibrant, collaborative community, acting as the primary point of contact for members and ensuring their day to day experience is seamless, professional and welcoming. This is a hands on, evolving role within a small onsite team, where a flexible ‘all hands on deck’ approach is essential.

You will lead on enquiry management, tours, and membership conversion, with a strong focus on driving occupancy as the space continues to grow. Alongside this, you will support day to day running of the workspace, working closely with events and cafe functions.

  • Support the team with daily operational coordination
  • Assist with workspace setup, member moves, and maintenance coordination where needed
  • Maintain a professional front-of-house environment, ensuring the space is always visitor-ready
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of services

We need you to have experience in:

  • A keen interest in sustainability, and supporting sustainable enterprise
  • 2 years+ experience in a similar role
  • People/line management experience
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer experience
  • Core hospitality/venue operational experience
  • Hands on experience of membership and/or events sales and promotion activities, to drive revenue
  • Empathetic, calm and supportive approach - be a safe pair of hands in a busy, chaotic environment
  • Problem solving capability
  • Barista and/or café service experience is also a requirement, however we can provide training in our London workspace if needed.
  • You ideally have experience in Workspace experience - have an understanding of the needs of diverse members
  • An understanding of the financial expectations of managing a venue/hospitality location

Benefits

  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Early morning starts and evening work should be expected, as service ramps up
  • Remuneration: £32,000 - £36,000 per annum
  • Based: Central Manchester
  • 25 days Holiday + Bank Hols
  • Monthly Wellness Day (for rest)
