We are looking for a Sales Executive with a proven track record in delivering sales results to join this fast-growing business working within the sustainable finance sector. You will be selling packages to founders of sustainable startups who are looking to attract investment from investors. These investors are interested in investing in sustainable businesses so they match up well. As a media company we are at the start of our journey and expecting to grow exponentially over the next few years so this is a unique opportunity to join a company that is in its infancy and be an integral part of that growth.
Our commercial packages include branding and thought leadership opportunities as well as sophisticated lead generation packages and award and events sponsorship. You will need to demonstrate that you can ask clients the right questions and listen to their needs and objections to come up with the most suitable offer for them.
About you
- Self starter with an entrepreneurial attitude and driven by success
- Strong rapport building skills with clients and colleagues
- Ability to communicate effectively with members of other teams
- A minimum of 2 years B2B sales experience
- The ability to generate revenue from new clients
- Build strong long term relationships with partners to maximise revenue
- Should display resilience and adaptability whilst working under pressure
- Good problem solving skills
- Skilled at influencing decision makers and networking at a senior level
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly, logically and persuasively
Responsibilities
- Securing sponsorship revenue
- Develop, maintain and expand relationships with clients
- Manage the sale from lead generation to completion of the package
- Work closely with colleagues across all functions
- Ability to upsell and entice contacts to new products
- Manage and maintain an up to date pipeline on the CRM
- Ensure all accounts are up to date and financial reporting is accurate
- Stay up to date with emerging industry trends
