Senior Electrical Engineer - Data Centre Project | West London | Immediate Start
A leading M&E contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a major data centre project in West London.
This is a key delivery role suited to an engineer who can take ownership of electrical packages from design coordination through installation, commissioning and final handover.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mission-critical environments and experience working on large-scale data centre projects with recognised M&E contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical packages from design development through to commissioning and handover.
- Coordinate with design consultants, BIM teams, specialist vendors and on-site delivery teams.
- Review technical submittals, equipment selections, drawings, RFIs and design changes.
- Oversee installation activities including LV/MV distribution, switchgear, UPS, generators, containment and cabling systems.
- Drive programme, quality and health & safety performance across the project.
- Support testing, commissioning and integrated systems testing activities.
- Work closely with project management teams to ensure successful delivery against client requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering data centre, mission-critical or large-scale MEP projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services and critical power infrastructure.
- Experience managing design coordination, technical reviews and site delivery activities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant electrical qualification and eligibility to work in the UK.
