Sustainable Talent have engaged exclusively with an Industry leader who design, install and commission large scale solar PV farms for their clients. Supplying renewable energy from solar power plants enables local communities to reduce costs and reduce their carbon footprint. It also means they can provide off-grid power in remote areas that can be sold back to the grid or used locally at a cheaper price than grid-supplied energy.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead the execution of Power projects within our EPC division. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from design and procurement to construction and commissioning. Your role will involve managing multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring project compliance and delivering projects that contribute to a cleaner energy future.
What will you be doing?
- Lead and manage the successful delivery of power projects, ensuring they align with sustainability and environmental standards.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Oversee procurement of materials and services.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring transparency, collaboration, and clear communication across all phases of the project.
- Ensure that all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
What are we looking for?
- Experience in project management within the EPC sector, ideally focused on renewable energy or sustainable projects.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex projects with a focus on sustainability and power generation.
- Strong understanding of solar renewable energy technologies.
- Expertise in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to drive innovation and sustainability throughout the project lifecycle.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certifications preferred.
